African Americans in Texas: A Lasting Legacy
HRA Gray & Pape assisted the Texas Historical Commission in the development of their largest travel guide produced to date. African Americans in Texas: A Lasting Legacy provides travelers with information on 79 sites throughout Texas, organized by the various regions that make up the Texas Heritage Trails system.
HRA Gray & Pape Historians conducted research, visited potential sites and locations across the state, assisted in the selection of sites to be included in the booklet, and provided written accounts of the events, people, and locations featured within.
