Weaver's Cove Energy and Mill River Pipeline Project
Massachusetts
HRA Gray & Pape is providing technical oversight for cultural resource issues associated with the Weavers Cove Energy LNG facility and Mill River Pipeline in Massachusetts. The firm is developing a Treatment Plan to mitigate adverse effects of the undertaking to several Native American Sites, and is coordinating project elements with the Massachusetts Historical Commission, FERC, and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation.
The projects involve the construction of an LNG terminal, associated pipeline laterals, staging areas, meter stations, temporary workspace, and offshore dredging and storage areas in Fall River, Freetown, Somerset, and Swansea.
HRA Gray & Pape has completed a series of studies that focus on Native American land use along the lower Taunton River, where project proponents are proposing to replace an existing pipeline.
