Toledo Bend Reservoir Relicensing Project

HRA Gray & Pape was selected by the Sabine River Authority to conduct survey and National Register evaluation of archaeological sites along the shoreline and evaluation of the Toledo Bend dam in partial completion of their relicensing requirements. HRA Gray & Pape developed a highly detailed GIS model to select areas along the 1,200-mile shoreline where high archaeological and historic site potential overlapped with threat of erosion and looting. This model included archaeological site file research as well as the results of historic map and archival review.
HRA Gray & Pape is currently assisting Sabine River Authority with the development of a Historic Properties Management Plan to guide their multi-year cultural resources management effort at Toledo Bend Reservoir.
