Southeast Expansion Pipeline Project
Alabama and Mississippi
HRA Gray & Pape, LLC. provided cultural resources management support to ENSR and Gulf South Pipeline Company, LP on the approximately 110-mile Southeast Expansion Pipeline Project in Mississippi and Alabama, and a proposed compressor station location in Louisiana. Survey completed along the pipeline route, several ancillary facilities locations, and over 50 access roads resulted in the identification of over 70 archaeological resources or historic properties. HRA Gray & Pape worked with project engineers and environmental staff to develop routes around cultural resources that may be eligible for inclusion on the National Register.
HRA Gray & Pape survey and addendum reports prepared for this project were accepted without revision from the State Historic Preservation Offices. Additional cultural resources management tasks included preparation of Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Resource Report 4 and providing assistance with tribal consultation responsibilities.
