Atlas Ozark East End Expansion Pipeline Project
Arkansas and Mississippi
HRA Gray & Pape, LLC, provided cultural resource management support to ENSR on the approximately 188-mile East End Expansion Pipeline Project across Arkansas and Mississippi for Ozark Gas Transmission, LLC.
Through successful consultations with the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, the History/Mississippi State Historic Preservation Office, and the Arkansas State Historic Preservation Office, the Phase I resource identification survey and report of findings for over 100 archaeological resources was completed in six months. HRA Gray & Pape is working with project engineers and environmental staff to develop routes around
cultural resources that may be eligible for inclusion on the National Register. Future work may include additional survey, probability modeling to assist with pipeline reroute design, and National Register eligibility assessment for significant resources that cannot be successfully avoided.
